Toto is the company that makes the extravagant Japanese toilets known as Washlets. These toilets feature a heated seat, bidet and deodorizer among other features.

Before the formation of Toto its members worked as session musicians for Steely Dan[3] Seals and Crofts[4and Crofts[4] Boz Skaggs, Sonny and Cher. The guitarist Steve Lukather was the band's lead singer.

About Toto

The group Toto was formed in the year 1976 by guitarists Jeff Porcaro and David Paich (who were also highly acclaimed studio musicians working with Boz Scaggs at the time) as well as bassist/singer Bobby Kimball. The group took their name from a Latin word that means "all-encompassing" and 메이저사이트 was determined to explore all styles of music.

Toto's touring group includes drummer Lenny Castro and bassist Shannon Forrest and keyboardist Shem Von Schroeck.

In 2002, drummer Greg Phillinganes left the group, and keyboardist David Paich took a leave of absence due to health reasons. Drummer Shem von Schroeck stepped in however the group was not the same without Paich and Phillinganes. In 2008, Toto decided to take the time off from touring due to a string lineup changes and a disappointing string of releases. But, the group recommenced performing in 2012 following the release of their album, 40 Trips Around the Sun.

The album marked a return to the band's top form and the tour that accompanied it featured sold-out shows in North America and Europe. The reunion of Toto gained momentum with the return of bassist Shem Von Schroeck and guitarist Steve Lukather.
