Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat

The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that converts from a single to double stroller by the addition of a second seat or glider board (sold separately). The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is able to be set up into a triple-travel system with the addition of a bench or infant car seat. It has 24 different configurations and is a top-rated stroller overall. This model is constructed with Baby Jogger’s soft and breathable, sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They help regulate the temperature. It has a premium leatherette handlebar as well as a bumper bar and comes with an abdominal bar. It is 20% smaller and lighter than the most popular single-to-double stroller on the market, the UPPAbaby V2.

It comes with a moderate-sized sunshade and a convenient magnetic peek-a-boo window that is easy to open and close. The telescoping handlebars are one of the simplest to adjust and works for parents of all sizes. The seats recline and come with an adjustment button for the footwell to allow you to place your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is spacious however we wish it had a latch that was more secure. The bin is easy to open, however the zippers can be difficult to use because they must be removed and put back in place after every use.

Like its brothers, the City Select has single-action brakes which are easy to set and release by the pulling of a lever located on the side of the frame, lower than the handlebar. It's sandal and barefoot-friendly and a significant improvement over the awkward toe-pinch brake levers that many of the other models use.

This is the only stroller that we have examined that accepts two infant seats. It's a great option for parents with twins or expecting a baby soon. It can be used to fit most infant car seats from major brands using an adapter. We tested it with Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models Cybex Aton and Aton Q as well as Nuna Pipa.

The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is an excellent option for families that already own car seats, but need a stroller that can accommodate it. However, you may be better served with another convertible stroller in this case.
