He tests and evaluates cleaning equipment. His focus is on mopping and robot vacuum cleaners best vacuum combinations. These multitaskers can be ideal for those who want to get rid of mopping off their list of tasks. Some have great navigation and obstacle avoidance. Others even wash and refill mopping pads for a hands-free cleaning.

The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model you need to pick if you are looking for an automatic vacuum cleaner that can also mop. It's smaller than the other models on this list making it easier to navigate through tight corners and under furniture. It has a 220-degree lidar that combined with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it the best navigation and object avoidance I've ever seen in a robotic vacuum. It's got a battery of 4600mAh that can last for up to 170 mins when cleaning and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer when it is set to turbo). It will even return to its dock to replenish its battery during the cleaning.

It's extremely fast and does an excellent job of cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It is able to vacuum carpeted rooms quickly, and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen, and hallways with just one motion. Its 8,000pa motor is able to remove dirt as well as pet hair and even droppings easily. Carpet detection increases power automatically when it comes into contact with rugs, and the two side brushes help to tease out dirt from corners.

The mopping efficiency, while still impressive, is not as good. The mop rotates at a high velocity and it pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scrubbing up dirt and staining. I've also noticed that the front arms extend out slightly more than other robots, which can be helpful to maneuver around tight corners and on baseboards. The front arms can be employed to clean larger pieces of debris, such as broken toys or books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've tried. It doesn't make as loud of a sound while vacuuming or mopping and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it must use a proprietary mopping solution and is sold separately. It is easy to install and works well. However, if you are buying this robot vacuum solely for mopping purposes you must pay attention to this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It comes with a wide array of features that make it an ideal choice for homeowners who want an efficient, flexible and adaptable cleaning machine.

The device is equipped with a powerful cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This enables it to map out the home and identify furniture and other obstacles. It can then use this information to clean efficiently and intelligently. This ensures an even and thorough clean, while also being relatively rapid.

In terms of mopping, the Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads are capable of reaching a wide range of surfaces. This includes corners or baseboards, as well as other hard-to-reach areas. They also have a flexible side brush that can be extended to the floor in close proximity to walls and other fixtures. In addition, the mop pads can be dried and washed to prevent build-up and reduce the odors.

Another feature worth mentioning is the customizable options available via apps. The Q Revo lets you adjust the suction strength and select either a back-and-forth or a random pattern. You can also choose the number of passes, which will determine the speed at which it can move around your home. You can even choose to disable the side brush to prevent damaging rugs and carpets.

The device comes with a high price tag but comes with a large selection of innovative features. It is important to note that the device is subject to regular expenses, such as mopping supplies as well as regular maintenance. For example the brushroll should be replaced every six to 12 months or after 300 hours. The filter should be cleaned after 150 hours, and mop pads must be replaced every one to three months.

This robot vacuum that mops has an excellent rating on Amazon and comes with a wide array of physical automation features. The robot vacuum also comes with an energy button that doubles as a 'Clean button' and a 'Home' button to send it home after cleaning. It also comes with a multi-functional dock that automatically empties the trash bin and refills its water tank to mop and washes and dries its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

If you're a busy professional or just want a cleaner home without spending hours doing chores, the Shark Matrix Plus is a excellent option. Its powerful performance, smart navigation and long battery life allow you to maintain a clean house with little effort.

The Matrix Plus robot vacuum is a two-in-one vacuum and mop. It can do both vacuuming as well as mopping. It has two modules: a combined dry bin and reservoir of water, and a separate mopping module with a microfiber pad that snaps in and out of place. It's a little old-fashioned to have separate modules for vacuuming and mopping but it does mean you don't need to worry about changing the bags for disposables or refilling the tank of water.

Our test subjects found that the Matrix Plus did a great job of vacuuming and mopping. Its greatest feature is its precise floorplan map, which it utilizes when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate around furniture, rugs and other obstacles. The app allows you to create 'No-Go Zones' and virtual barriers that prevent certain areas from being cleaned by mop.

The Matrix Plus also did a amazing job of picking up hair from pets. It was able to collect the majority of hair shed by our cats and even got into the nooks and crevices of our stairs, where other robots struggled. The noise levels of the robot were low and there were pleasant jingles to signal that it was beginning and finishing its work.

Its biggest drawbacks were its lack of sophistication and the need to switch between the modules to switch between vacuuming and mopping. The app can't contain multiple maps, which could be a pain when you live in a house with a mix of floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those who want a smart robot vacuum cleaner uk that can do both mopping and vacuuming.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our review, however it also has distinctive features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its enormous dock, which serves as the robot's charging base as well as housing for two water tanks, a cleaning sink, and an automatic 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically emptys.

The base comes with a few control buttons that allow you to manually start a cleaning task or recall the robot vacuum and mop, or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a nice feature for parents worried about their children messing around with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums the Omni Omni uses its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path, and then avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than laser detection systems and is four times more accurate in recognizing objects.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni can occasionally become so entangled with obstacles, like a power cord draped across a rug--that it becomes stuck and stops working until you manually free it. Although this is not a common occurrence but it was a very frustrating experience when it happened and especially because the X1 Omni doesn't have a "stuck" status alert on its app.

The X1 Omni isn't able to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming mode during cleaning. You'll have to manually swap between the two modes, which isn't too bad apart from the fact that the mopping pads haven't been cleaned and dried between uses which could lead to mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a major change from the utilitarian all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing appearance in a market which is dominated by clunky boxy models.
