Combi single pushchair Stroller Review

With a traditional umbrella fold and sleek aluminum frame, this stroller comes with a very affordable price. It also has a parent cup holder, large basket and canopy pocket to hold everything you need.

The stroller is prone to flexing when pushed, particularly on rough surfaces. This can be a problem for parents who are on the move who utilize their stroller on a regular basis.

Features

Combi strollers make it easier and more enjoyable to look after your children. They are light, simple to use, and look attractive. They also come with a variety of safety features, such as 3-point and 5-point harnesses, reversible handle, large canopy, and adjustable suspension. Some also have a parent cup holder and a large basket.

The Cosmo is the Combi's top stroller and it can accommodate car seats. It did not fare well in the traditional stroller and car seat compatibility tests, however. The company's other models including the Flare, and the Shuttle have received better reviews online.

One of the most impressive features that this stroller has is its simple fold that can be done in three steps and does not require bent over. It is also easy to maneuver and can be used in various terrains. It comes with a huge umbrella that shields your child from harsh conditions such as wind and sun.

The frame is made of steel which makes it extremely sturdy. The wheels are made from a special material that absorbs road bumps and shocks. The 53cm high seat keeps your baby off the ground by preventing contact with allergens or dirt. The Combi stroller also comes with an adult cupholder as well as an enormous storage basket.

The Cosmo scored well in the stability and manoeuvrability tests, however, it did not perform in our head-tohead comparisons with top performers like the Cougar 2. It was able to hold its own in the sideways-tilting test with a score of 33 degrees but it wasn't close enough to the highest scores. This test is made easier by the front-lock swivel wheel and suspension. A single step brake pedal locks both rear wheels, which is beneficial in tight spaces and improves mobility. It is available in a variety of colors and can be bought at many department stores, baby chain stores and independent baby shops.

Design

The stroller's first appearance is nice and its unique folding mechanism is interesting, but that's about it. In tests, it didn't do as well as other strollers and provided little in return. It can only hold one car seat, which means it's not a great choice for twins and its padding leaves much to be desired for a truly comfortable ride over the course of. It's heavy, clumsy and difficult to navigate. While it has storage, it's small and difficult to access.

The frame of the Combi Twin Cosmo has many parts and connections that make it appear more costly than its competitors, which have frames that are made of smaller pieces that are welded, instead of riveted. The backs of the seat do not lie flat against the frame when it's collapsed. It has a decent weight capacity and is more easy to load into a trunk than some of its competitors but the bulk might cause issues with public transportation as it's likely not compatible with any 2'X4' regulations that apply there.

Despite its size and weight the Combi Twin Cosmo earned a reasonable score in our maneuverability test. It required 25 pounds of weight hanging from the handle bar before it fell backwards which is better than the majority of competitors but still not as impressive as the best lightweight single stroller performer in this metric, the Chariot Cougar 2.

It has a good front wheel suspension, and its large rear wheels can be locked to increase mobility. The brake pedal that is single step locks and unlocks both rear wheels simultaneously which is great for parking in tight spaces and parking. Storage space is offered by a cup holder and large basket, but not as much as other items.

The canopy has a small storage compartment on the back, however it's too low for larger items such as diaper bags or grocery bags. Two cup holders are provided however they're too close to be useful when sharing drinks. The canopy offers decent sun protection with a three-panel sunshade that blocks more than 99 percent UV radiation.

Comfort

Strollers are designed to let children sit comfortably and upright position. This stroller comes with an adjustable seat that reclines and a huge canopy that extends all the way to the back. The canopy also houses a parent cup holder, and additional storage. The stroller comes with an adjustable bar that can be telescopically moved for effortless maneuvering, and can be parked in tight spaces.

This stroller scored highly in our quality measure, however, it was not a standout in the other categories. It has the most flexible frame when it was pushed, and its connection points are constructed of plastic, not being a soft product like other strollers. The wheels were very flexible and may be difficult to use on uneven surfaces.

It has good maneuverability but this is offset by its weight and size. It took more effort to push, and this can be difficult for parents of smaller children to manage on a regular basis. It can easily maneuver through narrow aisles and doors, but it could be difficult to fit into an elevator with a lot of people.

The under seat storage is a bit small and was a disappointment for testers. It was difficult to access, and there's an opening in the middle of this space that prevents larger items from fitting. A diaper bag filled with two children's supplies was not able to fit and the standard size purse may be a challenge with this storage space. The additional pockets on the canopy are a nice addition however they don't provide the needed storage option under the seat.

The stroller's unique fold-and- carry strap makes it a fantastic option for transporting it to and from public transport. However, the weighty stroller can make it difficult to fit into crowded trains and buses without causing harm to innocent pedestrians. This stroller might be best suited for commuters who can easily transport it in their vehicles. It is lightweight single stroller enough to be carried up and down escalators, but will need to be folded should you want to take it on a train or bus.

Safety

The Combi Fold N Go Stroller is compact and lightweight with a number of useful features. It features a reclined seat for your child with plush harness pads to ensure their safety and comfort, a large canopy that blocks out the sun, and storage space. The dual front wheel suspension, lockable front wheels and large canopy allow for a smooth ride while allowing air flow into and out of the seat. A cup holder for the parent and a large basket provide additional storage for essentials and the stroller's handrail can be adjusted to height to meet your comfort level.

This stroller earned a good rating in our ease of use tests. The CR testers adored the ease of folding in just three steps, is lightweight, narrow enough to fit into doors, and comes with a locking brake system that's simple to use. The stroller's leg openings are also small to prevent children from sliding through, and it's easy to control. Those are all important aspects to consider when choosing a stroller, however it is equally important that the child be safely secured in the car seat. That's why you should choose a stroller that is able to be folded, unfolded and parked, then secured by attaching the car seat without the need for complicated steps or tools.

Always remember to fasten the child's safety harness and close the gap between the back of the seat and the grab bar when the stroller is in a reclining position. This will stop your child from climbing up and becoming a strangulation risk or fall risk. Keep purses and diaper bags away from the stroller's handles in order to avoid entanglement. This will also lower the risk that the bag will tip over. Finally, it is important to register your new stroller with the manufacturer, so that you are informed of any recalls.
