Τα τέσσερα εργατικά συνδικάτα που οργάνωσαν τις διαδηλώσεις και τις απεργίες σχεδιάζουν μια μεγαλύτερη διαδήλωση, αργότερα σήμερα, στο Παρίσι. Βασικός στόχος είναι να επεκταθεί η περίοδος καταβολής εισφορών στα 43 χρόνια μέχρι το 2035.
Ο Επίτροπος Οικονομικών και Νομισματικών Υποθέσεων της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης Όλι Ρεν, σε συνέντευξή του στην Εφημερίδα Λε Φιγκαρό εκφράστηκε θετικά για τη μεταρρύθμιση, προειδοποιώντας ωστόσο ταυτόχρονα τον Ολάντ να φροντίσει να μην αυξηθεί το ήδη υψηλό κόστος εργασίας. "Είναι μια μεταρρύθμιση α-λα γαλλικά που οδεύει προς τη σωστή κατεύθυνση", είπε χαρακτηριστικά.
