Kατά 10% μειώθηκαν οι γεννήσεις στην Ελλάδα τα τελευταία πέντε χρόνια, σύμφωνα με τα στοιχεία του Ινστιτούτου υγείας του Παιδιού.

Τα στοιχεία που διαβιβάστηκαν στη Βουλή από τον υπουργό υγείας, Άδωνι Γεωργιάδη, δείχνουν ότι το 2007 ο αριθμός γεννήσεων ήταν 111.926 και έπεσε σταδιακά τα επόμενα χρόνια, με τις γεννήσεις να περιορίζονται το 2012, στις 100.980.

«Το πρόβλημα της υπογεννητικότητας στον ελληνικό πληθυσμό αυξάνεται συνεχώς τις τελευταίες δύο δεκαετίες και επιδεινώνεται σημαντικά την τελευταία περίοδο, λόγω της έντονης οικονομικής κρίσης που αντιμετωπίζει η χώρα» αναφέρει ο υπουργός υγείας, σε έγγραφό του που διαβιβάστηκε στη Βουλή. «Η συνεχής μείωση των αριθμών των γεννήσεων, η έντονη μεταβολή (μείωση) των δεικτών γεννητικότητας και αναλογίας γεννήσεων ανά γυναίκα αναπαραγωγικής ηλικίας, δηλώνει την κορύφωση του προβλήματος, με αρνητικές προοπτικές εξέλιξης» επισημαίνει επίσης ο κ. Γεωργιάδης και επισημαίνει ότι εκτός από τους ποσοτικούς δείκτες υπάρχουν και ποιοτικά χαρακτηριστικά που διαμορφώνουν το δημογραφικό πρόβλημα της υπογεννητικότητας, μονοκατοικια ενοικιαση βολος όπως η αύξηση του μέσου όρου ηλικίας γάμου και κατά συνέπεια, η γέννηση παιδιών σε μεγαλύτερες ηλικίες των γονέων, κατασχεμενα σπιτια προσ πωληση βολος η ανισοκατανομή των γεννήσεων ανά περιφέρεια της χώρας (μείωση των γεννήσεων στον αγροτικό πληθυσμό), η σημαντική συμμετοχή γεννήσεων από οικογένειες μεταναστών κλπ.

Όπως εξάλλου αναφέρει ο υπουργός, «το περιεχόμενο των πολιτικών για την αντιμετώπιση της υπογεννητικότητας στην Ελλάδα προϋποθέ ΤΕΙ τη συστηματική λήψη μέτρων και ανάπτυξη δράσεων για παροχές, υποδομές, οργάνωση υπηρεσιών κλπ, σε κοινωνικό, οικονομικό, εργασιακό και ασφαλιστικό επίπεδο».

Προγεννητικός έλεγχος

Το έγγραφο του κ. Γεωργιάδη διαβιβάστηκε στη Βουλή μετά από ερώτηση του ανεξάρτητου βουλευτή Γιάννη Κουράκου, ο οποίος επικαλείται έρευνα της Εθνικής Σχολής Δημόσιας υγείας που δείχνει ότι υπάρχει αύξηση στις γεννήσεις νεκρών εμβρύων. Ο βουλευτής είχε διατυπώσει την ανησυχία του για το ενδεχόμενο γυναίκες που μένουν άνεργες να παραλείπουν σημαντικές εξετάσεις και ελέγχους κατά τη διάρκεια της εγκυμοσύνης.

Ειδικά για τον προγεννητικό έλεγχο, ο υπουργός υγείας αναφέρεται στις εξετάσεις που ήδη γίνονται, αναγνωρίζει όμως ότι το περιεχόμενο του προγεννητικού ελέγχου -με τη διευρυμένη του έννοια- βρίσκεται σε διαρκή επιστημονική συζήτηση, δεν έχει εκδοθεί σχετική απόφαση του Κεντρικού Συμβουλίου υγείας (ΚΕ.Σ.Υ) που να προσδιορίζει τα είδη των εξετάσεων που εντάσσονται στο πλαίσιο αυτό και γι΄ αυτό «διαπιστώνεται, πραγματικά, μερική κάλυψη σε ασφαλιστικό επίπεδο των εξετάσεων του προγεννητικού ελέγχου, το περιεχόμενο του οποίου δεν έχει διευρυνθεί από το 1999, παρά τις συνεχείς επιστημονικές εξελίξεις».

«Το γεγονός αφήνει ακάλυπτους τους γονείς και τα έμβρυα από την πρόληψη της εκδήλωσης ή την ανατ ροπή νέων, πλέον των προβλεπόμενων, νοσηρών καταστάσεων» αναφέρει ο υπουργός υγείας και ενημερώνει ότι «η αρμόδια διεύθυνση του υπουργείου υγείας, έχοντας τη σχετική αρμοδιότητα σε θέματα προγεννητικού ελέγχου, σε συνεργασία με τις συναρμόδιες διευθύνσεις του υπουργείου υγείας και ύστερα από σχετική επιστημονική γνώμη του ΚΕ.Σ.Υ, θα προβεί στις απαραίτητες ενέργειες για τη διεύρυνση των προβλεπόμενων εξετάσεων του προγεννητικού ελέγχου, ώστε να υπάρχει δυνατότητα ασφαλιστικής κάλυψης αυτών από τον ΕΟΠΥΥ και άλλα ταμεία, καθώς και ένταξης της εν λόγω παροχής για τους ανασφάλιστους και οικονομικά αδυνάτους».
